Gaston College names new textile center leader

Gaston University has a new executive director of its Textile Technologies and Fiber Innovation Facilities. Jasmine Cox most not too long ago served as the college’s director of Textile Technological know-how Systems and Business Innovation.

“Jasmine is a natural suit for this place. She’s an energetic and passionate leader with a potent innovative spirit that is effectively-revered internally and throughout lots of aspects of the textile sector – each statewide and nationally,” explained John Hauser, president of Gaston School. “Her knowledge, competencies, knowledge, and talents in textiles and advanced supplies will keep on to be key to the Textile Technological innovation Center’s enduring results, and a must have to the new Fiber Innovation Center to be created on our Kimbrell Campus.”

As government director, Cox becomes a member of the President’s Cupboard and a key member of the College’s leadership workforce. She has been with Gaston Faculty and the Textile Technology Centre considering the fact that 2015.
